A Tatami judo mat is nowadays widely used in the practice of Japanese martial arts and self-defense arts such as jiu-jitsu, aikido, and judo.
The mats used during training and competitions must meet strict requirements regarding hardness, firmness, durability, and uniformity. These mats are manufactured from high-quality foam and vinyl.
The mat is shock-absorbing, does not shift, and is easy to clean. Additionally, the mat can be quickly taken apart for purposes such as cleaning the subfloor. Thanks to the double-sided design, the mat can be used on both sides. The surface features a rice straw pattern, which provides excellent grip during sports.
