The treadmill is equipped with an AC Motor. This is a type of motor that is preferred in commercial treadmills because an AC motor is more powerful, less susceptible to wear and more durable compared to a DC motor. A DC motor is often part of treadmills that are made for home use.

Heavy construction

With a weight of no less than 157 kg, the construction offers stability; also during more intensive workouts. The heavier the weight of a treadmill, the less the structure moves, which provides more stability. This makes the treadmill feel very solid. Together with the AC motor, this also ensures the treadmill can be heavily loaded by users with a maximum weight of 180 kg. Although the treadmill cannot be folded, this ensures the construction feels stable, even during heavier workouts.

Tread 155x55 cm

The tread has a surface of 155x55 cm. This gives you access to a large running surface and you have to pay less attention to making a misstep during training. The large tread, the stable construction and the damping system together ensure that every step feels comfortable.

Incline 18%

While walking, the speed can be adjusted up to a maximum of 20 km per hour, and the slope (incline) up to 18%. This is a high percentage which offers a steep climb and can make the training challenging and tough in addition to running at a high speed. Both the speed as the slope you can increase/decrease step by step during training; During some programs the speed/incline becomes automatic increased and decreased.

Modern computer with TFT Display

The computer of the Newton Fitness T7 TFT contains a large TFT display with touchscreen and a wide number of modern functions. The computer includes 12 pre-programmed programs, a few heart rate controlled programs and a number of virtual routes. During training, all necessary training data is displayed on the TFT display. There are standard a number of apps available for the necessary entertainment, such as YouTube, Netflix and Spotify, but also the option to synchronize your smartphone with the screen of the treadmill, giving you many more options. You can also connect the computer to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth® use the apps Kinomap and Zwift.

Additional functions of the computer panel

If you want to use your tablet or smartphone while training, you can place it in the holder at the bottom of the display. Is your smartphone battery running out? No problem, because your smartphone is automatically charged when you place it in the holder via wireless charging (if your smartphone supports this function). Other extras that the computer panel has are a USB connection, an auxiliary connection and a fan that you can activate during training.

Heart rate measurement

You can measure your heart rate while exercising by holding the built-in sensors in the handles. The computer also contains one built-in receiver, so you can also measure your heart rate wirelessly using the supplied chest strap. Wearing the chest strap gives a better measurement and is recommended if you want to measure your heart rate continuously. Would you like to measure heart rate every now and then while walking?
